Dear Progress Families,
Happy Friday! We finally are seeing a little more sunshine and warmer temperatures. It is long overdue! Our Spring Inquiry and Exploration work is in full swing. The kids are getting curious about many different topics across the grade levels. Their journey begins with being immersed in information about a specific topic. Sometimes they are pictures to get curious and ask questions about. Sometimes it is a short video or reading. Our teachers allow student interest to guide the direction their journey takes before allowing students to choose which topic they would like to explore in more depth. Ask your child what they are learning about in their Exploration!
Reminders:
- At our May 11th PTA meeting we will be holding our elections for next year’s officers. Please join us on ZOOM to vote (link below in Upcoming events section). We appreciate your support!
- Our BOGO Book Fair will be beginning May 30th this year. It will be open to families from 3:15-5:00 each day. It will be open late on May 31st in conjunction with our Progress Community Fun Night!
- YEARBOOK ORDERS! Please follow this link to order yearbooks for this school year! The deadline to order is May 18th!

- If your child will be missing school for any reason, it is very important to call the attendance line and let us know the reason for the absence. Absences not called in with a reason will be left as unexcused.
Sexual Health, Human Growth & Development
5th Grade’s lesson will be Friday, May 5th from 2:20-3:00. 4th Grade’s lesson will be Friday May 12th from 2:20-3:00. No changes were made to the content of the 4th and 5th grade lessons. Opt-out options are available and will be detailed on the preview web page. If you do not opt your child out we will plan on them joining us.
